Well I can't say I didn't expect to be taken to task or that I don't deserve it, but here's my best answer: Why was your promise to Tara more important than it was to Carl? The short answer is that my promise was explicitly introduced by me. In that final four, I talked to three people. You were pretty firm about voting for me. You were moving in for the kill, so I ABSOLUTELY needed the other two votes in order to avoid a tiebreaker scenario. I talked to Carl. Carl and I talked for a while. During that talk, I was trying to figure out how to bring up a "Let's vote for Glen so both of us are safe" plan without seeming thirsty as all hell. Luckily for me, Carl brought the idea up on his own, and I pounced on it. No mention was made of final 2, but at that point I had full intentions of bringing Carl given the chance because, as you said, that's probably a win for me. Then Tara messaged me a long, long, INCREDIBLY LONG message saying, basically 'Tyreese, whichever way I vote, I just want you to know that I respect you and that I've really enjoyed playing this game with you. In my head, I know I should vote you out, but I really don't want to and no matter what I hope you can respect my decision.' Obviously Tara was voting for me at this point, which would've made the vote 2-2 and I would be stuck in that tiebreaker scenario. This is my response to her word-for-word: "Well ... how about I offer you a deal: You vote for Carl and I will take you to final 2 if I win immunity. I don't think Glen or Carl would ever be able to promise you that." Tara went along with it, and you went home. That was the first and only deal I introduced myself. Like you said, I betrayed EVERYBODY to get to the end, but at the end of the day, Tara was the only person I went to, pockets turned out, and said 'Please Tara, I promise you, if you do this for me, I will do this for you.' When it came down to it, I guess I couldn't stoop quite low enough to immediately go back on my word there. If that makes sense, awesome. If it doesn't, well hopefully Tara gives a worse answer than me.

Thanks for your question, Glen. I was very much a team player from the beginning of the game, even though I didn't have much of a team. lol Once we swapped, nothing about that attitude changed. I just had a new team, one that I was very loyal to, and was willing to put my trust in. During the merge, I may not have had a lot of say in what happened at certain points, but honestly as long as I was in the clear, that would have had to be good enough at the time. One of my goals, as was everyone's probably, was to survive. I knew I was outnumbered if you looked at old tribal lines and I wasn't looking to rock the boat by trying to take control of every situation. When Maggie was sent to jury, even if my boys had decided to let it happen, Maggie being on the jury would be a plus for me. I knew that my time in the game could end at any time if majority had decided that it should happen. But it never did. And that was in part due to my relationships with certain people and my becoming more of an asset for those who were planning ahead, as numbers dwindled. I knew that and I made myself appear available. In answer to your question, what can I take credit for that Tyreese wasn't a part of? I can take credit for putting myself in the position, and creating the core group, or at least a part of it, who would eventually make it to the final 4, and having the relationships that would carry me here to the end of the game, even though some deemed me a threat, and everyone upon being voted out was saying that I would win the game. I had put myself out there very early on as someone who was here to play. When Andrea played the idol, her side voted for Maggie, and not me. Michonne said she had something to do with keeping the vote off of me. That's just an example of one connection outside of the core. Whether it's true or not, someone decided that it shouldn't be me. I hope that's satisfactory. Thanks Glen!
